Easter Bunny Tracker 2020, Initialized

April 4, 2020 By trackeasterbunny

Track Easter Bunny Headquarters

The Easter Bunny Tracker for 2020 has been initialized.

“Initialized” means that the Easter Bunny Tracker for the web is in its initial startup sequence and in less than a week’s time you will be able track the Easter Bunny as he makes his journey around the world. During the initial startup sequence, the system is rebooted several times and communications are tested.

This year, you can use the web version of the Easter Bunny Tracker for free (supported by ads) or you can use the app for Android (an ad-free experience).

The cost of the app is $1.99. The small fee we charge for the app helps to support Track Easter Bunny in its mission to track the Easter Bunny each and every year. It also helps to support new development and gives you a cool way to track the Easter Bunny directly from your smartphone. Another advantage of the app, as opposed to the web version, is that you can track the Easter Bunny on Easter Island before Easter.

Learn more about the different statuses of the Easter Bunny Tracker here.

Happy Easter!

Easter Bunny Sighting? Easter Island camera captures bunny-like creature

April 4, 2020 By trackeasterbunny

easter bunny sighting

The Legend of the Easter Bunny is gaining momentum this week after a recent photo surfaced of a possible Easter Bunny sighting on Easter Island.

If you look closely by the fallen tree there looks to be something.  Could it be the Easter Bunny?

We will leave that up to you.

While we have personally caught glimpses of the Easter Bunny over the years, once you see the Easter Bunny in person you will become a believer.

Because Easter Island is so isolated, there are very few animal species on the island, which makes this photo captured by a Track Easter Bunny field observer all the more intriguing. The observer who took the photo left out carrots, which are now gone.

Never stop believing.

Happy Easter!

Track Easter Bunny Celebrates its 10th Anniversary!

April 2, 2020 By trackeasterbunny

Easter Bunny Tracker

This week Track Easter Bunny celebrated its 10th anniversary. Founded in 2010, Track Easter Bunny is the internet’s first and biggest Easter Bunny Tracker that empowers kids to learn all about Easter and the Easter Bunny in a fun and engaging way.

Track Easter Bunny has since increased in size and includes TrackEasterBunny.com, SantaTracker.net, Easter Bunny Email, EasterBunnyTracker.com, as well as mobile apps including Santa Tracker and Easter Bunny Tracker.

The Track Easter Bunny website has grown from just a few users to garnering hundreds of thousands (each Easter) since it launched the first Easter Bunny Tracker ten years ago.

In addition to our websites and mobile apps, our newsletters (here, here, and here) have reached nearly 6,000 subscribers, with more added on a daily basis.

Our social media presence continues to grow with our combined Facebook (here and here) and Twitter (here and here) followers reaching nearly 50,000. And this year we’re expanding into YouTube (here and here) to better serve our users.

We have plans to develop additional titles in the future and hope you’ll join us on our journey.

Thanks to all our loyal users for their continued support and feedback!

Happy Easter!

Easter Bunny Tracker Android app is almost ready! THANKS for your patience!

March 31, 2020 By trackeasterbunny

Easter Bunny Tracker Android App

We’ve been receiving a lot of questions about whether the Android app for the Easter Bunny Tracker will be ready by Easter, or even at all.

The fact of the matter is that we have published the Android app to the Google Play Store, but it ran into a compatibility issue, which we already submitted a fix for. Normally, Google approves changes to apps quickly, however, due to the COVID-19 impacts, Google announced that it expects app reviews to take up to a week or even longer, so right now we’re in a holding pattern.

The good news is that the FREE Web version of the Easter Bunny Tracker is ready to go and will be up and running for Easter, no matter what. Not only is it optimized for every device—from smartphone to tablet—but it’s totally new and improved compared to years past. The web version of the Easter Bunny Tracker will have essentially the same look and feel as the Android app, which we hope to release very soon.

Plus, we have a full redundant backup site that will be running the same tracker over at EasterBunnyTracker.com, in the event that Track Easter Bunny gets too much traffic to handle, as we fully expect.

We wish everyone a safe and happy Easter season!

Stay safe and do your best to stay egg-cited for Easter!

— The Track Easter Bunny Team

NOTE: We are charging a small fee ($1.99) for the app for those fans who want to try it out. Because our project is not funded by outside sources, with the exception of ads, we are charging a small fee (only for the Android app) to support development and continuous improvements.

Footprints prove Easter Bunny is no myth?

March 29, 2020 By trackeasterbunny

This kid says he may have found footprints belonging to the Easter Bunny. The footprints, which had some hints of blue and pink glitter, measured several inches wide and were several feet apart.

So, what do you think? Is this proof of the elusive Easter Bunny?
